Paul has been a hair and skin care professional since 1980. Originally from Southern California, Paul completed his training there and participated in an apprenticeship program at a prestigious Beverly Hills salon. His ongoing education includes specialized programs at the Sassoon Academy and training in several major color lines, including ISO, Matrix, Schwarzkopf, Framesi, and Redken. He received his Master Colorist Certification in 2000.

Paul has worked with print and runway models in Los Angeles, and for several years was a styling team member that performed at fashion shows throughout Southern California.

Paul has won several awards and earned many certificates of achievement throughout his career. He believes in staying current through continuing education. In fact, Paul’s passion for education led him to become an educator to the professional stylist, teaching and inspiring the industry’s next wave of master designers. He has worked for four major hair color companies utilizing his talents in tradeshows, seminars, and in-salon classes. Paul is currently an educator for Dikson North America.

Paul began vacationing in the Pacific Northwest in the early 1990s and was taken by the friendly atmosphere of the people of Portland and by the city itself. He also loves the Portland weather!
